Human Resources Manager

Department: Human Resources
Location: Hood River, OR

As the Human Resources Manager, you will oversee the entire employee life cycle, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience from onboarding to ongoing operations and beyond. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field
  • HRCI or SHRM certification
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources role
  • Experience building, maintaining, and presenting HR data analytics
  • High emotional and social intelligence with experience fostering positive, strong relationships with diverse groups of people
  • Comfortable navigating both the strategic questions and the tactical issues critical to growing a company.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate a high level of professionalism
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; you can handle multiple projects and dynamic priorities without missing a beat
  • Passionate about people and how they function together to create a valuable organization
  • A passion for developing and driving an employee-forward culture
  • Dedication to transparency & direct communication
  • Outstanding interpersonal, coaching and listening skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the company
  • Prioritize and organize work according to multiple and, at times, competing timelines
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Successful relationship management skills involving multidisciplinary teams in a diverse, multicultural environment.
  • Work independently, work with multiple projects and maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • High level technology skills, including use of Microsoft Office applications and other systems
  • Knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Knowledge of customer service and workplace safety
  • Able to work in a team environment, to work independently, and/or be self-directed
  • Identify learning needs and goals and design a plan to meet them

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Spanish/English bilingual
  • Operational experience outside the people/human resources function
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP Certification
  • Expectation to excel and be part of a high functioning team
  • Understand and work with HRSA requirements and expectations

Compensation:

  • Salaried/Exempt: Starting at $89,000 annually, dependent on experience
  • Bilingual Differential: Additionally, we offer $0.75 per hour as compensation for bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
  • Milage Reimbursement: In accordance with OCH policy.
