Administrative Coordinator

Location: Hood River, OR

One Community Health is excited to announce an open position for an Administrative Coordinator, a role that is vital in enhancing our healthcare operations. This position is essential for providing seamless support across various departments, ensuring efficient functioning and the delivery of high-quality patient care. This position has the flexibility of full or part time.

The Administrative Coordinator plays a crucial role in optimizing healthcare operations by providing cross coverage for the Clinical Coordinator with Residency Program Support & Executive Assistant positions, managing medical provider templates, dental provider templates, and providing comprehensive support to Medical, Dental, Behavioral Health, and Site Directors. The Admin Coordinator will perform a wide range of administrative functions including handling confidential and/or sensitive information, managing schedules, compiling data, preparing correspondence and coordinating activities. This position requires superb organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills to ensure smooth operations and support high-quality patient care. Good communication skills and confidentiality are essential. The role calls for good judgment and the ability to be flexible within an established structure. The Admin Coordinator must work well independently, with a respectful demeanor that is not intimidated by providers, and be kind, patient, and compassionate. Attention to detail and follow through are vital components of success in this role.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Highschool diploma or GED
  • 3 years of administrative, accounting or financial experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to use initiative and good judgment to complete tasks and resolve issues safely and professionally.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple activities/tasks and staff with the ability to delegate tasks and enlist the cooperation and/or assistance of team members
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Successful relationship management skills involving multidisciplinary teams in a diverse, multicultural environment.
  • Reacts calmly and effectively in time sensitive situations.
  • High level computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, Epic, and other systems.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a dynamic and changing community health care environment.

Preferred:

  • Spanish/English bilingual
  • Epic Experience
  • Experience with medical scheduling, clinical workflows, and healthcare operations
  • Understand and work within a systems perspective

Compensation:

  • Hourly/Non-Exempt: Starting at $25.50 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Bilingual Differential: Additionally, we offer $0.75 per hour as compensation for bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
  • Milage Reimbursement: In accordance with OCH policy.
