Dental Assistant Apprentice

What You’ll Learn & Do:

  • Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and medical history
  • Provide patient education and support around treatment and follow-up care
  • Gain exposure to real clinical settings and learn key dental assisting skills

Apprenticeship Benefits & Details:

  • 12–14-month program
  • 297 hours of online classroom learning
  • 2000 hours on-the-job skills training

  • No healthcare experience required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Proof of High School Diploma or GED.
    • Copy of Diploma, GED certificate or original/official transcript mailed in a sealed envelope from the school from an institution recognized in the U.S education system.
  • If High School is outside of the U.S or Canada:
    • Copy of high school or postsecondary diploma/transcript with graduation date.
    • Copy of document translated into English.
    • Original/official equivalency report in a sealed enveloped from the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services or the American Association of Collegiate registrars and Admissions Officers. DANB will return all original documents.

Compensation:

  • Hourly/Non-Exempt: Starting at $20 per hour
  • Bilingual Differential: Additionally, we offer $0.75 per hour as compensation for bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
