One Community Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Manager to lead and support dental operations across our clinics. In this key leadership role, you will partner with staff at all OCH dental sites to ensure alignment and continuity of operations.
The Dental Manager is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and supervision of dental services, providing guidance to our dental support teams—including Dental Assistants, Dental Sterilization Technicians, and the Dental Supervisor. You will play a critical role in developing and implementing policies and procedures, conducting process audits to drive quality and efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve the patient experience.
This position also serves as a mentor and resource to staff, helping to foster a positive, team-oriented, and patient-centered environment.This is a full-time position with responsibilities split between our Hood River and The Dalles clinics.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or group leader role within a dental setting.
- Proficient knowledge of dental scheduling, clinical procedures, and patient flow.
- Experience with staff management, recruitment, employee relations, and workplace safety.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Successful track record in managing relationships across multidisciplinary teams in a diverse environment.
- Able to respond calmly and effectively in high-pressure situations with a focus on quality and productivity.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Epic, and other relevant systems.
- Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Willingness to travel between clinic locations, as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Oregon dental assisting certification, Oregon EFDA certification, or Oregon dental hygiene license.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience working with underserved or low-income patient populations.

Compensation:
- Salaried/Exempt: Starting at $70,000 annually, increases depending on experience and licensure
- Bilingual Differential: Additionally, we offer $0.75 per hour as compensation for bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
- Milage Reimbursement: In accordance with OCH policy.
