Technology Manager

Department: Information Technology
Location: Hood River, OR

At One Community Health, the Technology Manager plays a key leadership role within our IT department, offering a hands-on approach to supervising and directing the day-to-day activities of the IT administration team. This role is responsible for overseeing the design, installation, modification, and ongoing maintenance of hardware, software, and related systems. The Technology Manager also leads the development and implementation of IT procedures and best practices, manages system audits, and oversees timelines and execution of IT projects, including upgrades, updates, and migrations.

Additionally, this position is responsible for supporting the growth and development of the IT team, with a focus on training, and professional development. This position is full-time, on-site, and located at our clinic in Hood River, Oregon.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Administration, or a related field.
    • Equivalent combinations of education and relevant work experience may also be considered.
  • 5 or more years of professional experience in information systems or IT.
  • 3 or more years of experience in a supervisory or project management role.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to evolving technologies and align them with organizational goals.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a logical, consistent approach to problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under pressure while maintaining quality outcomes.
  • Advanced knowledge of IT principles and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Commitment to meeting organizational goals with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Demonstrated success in building relationships across multidisciplinary, multicultural teams.
  • Effective leadership and coaching skills, with a focus on staff development and performance improvement.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset and a proactive approach.
  • Trusted communicator capable of engaging both internal and external stakeholders with professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise a high degree of discretion.
  • High-level knowledge of Windows servers and endpoint systems.
  • Proficient in hardware troubleshooting and maintenance for Windows environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of networking equipment and infrastructure.
  • Familiarity and compliance with HIPAA Security and Privacy regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
  • Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM)
  • 4 or more years of experience in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Experience working in a community health center, migrant health center (FQHC), or healthcare environment.

Compensation:

  • Salaried/Exempt: Starting at $80,000 annually
  • Bilingual Differential: Additionally, we offer $0.75 per hour as compensation for bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
