One Community Health (OCH) is seeking a detail-oriented front desk receptionist to join our Welcome Team at the White Salmon, Washington clinic location. This Welcome Team position is responsible for a wide range of clerical and administrative tasks, including patient registration, appointment scheduling, and answering patient phone calls. The schedule for the Welcome Team Receptionist position is Tuesday through Saturday from 9 AM to 6 PM at our clinic in White Salmon, WA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform patient registration, including checking patients in and obtaining demographic and billing/insurance information.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Receive patient payments and maintain accurate records.
• Answer and screen telephone calls, delivering messages in a timely manner.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Fluent bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a customer service setting.
• Effective communication skills and experience with multi-line telephones.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• High school graduate or G.E.D.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Post high school education in office/clerical coursework.
• Experience working in the medical industry or a call center environment.
• Experience working with low-income, multi-ethnic populations.

Compensation:

• Hourly/Non-Exempt: Starting at $23.00-$23.75 per hour, increased depending on experience
• Bilingual Differential: Additionally, we offer $0.75 per hour as compensation for bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
